Getting airplay on adult music stations, "Mama's Love" from "I'm a Kid!" fuels Jeanie's dream of crossover music that blurs the line between music written solely for a young audience and songs that are loved by the whole family young and old alike.
It's also getting airplay in these countries as well as the U.S.: Austria, Germany, Scotland, England, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Australia and New Zealand.
"If you're looking for quality entertainment for children...Jeanie B is your Jelly Bean!!! She's a solid pro, expert musician and delivers an exceptional show!"
Not only did the kids have fun...We had a blast too!" — Carole Dibo and Sam Samuelson, owners, The Wilmette Theatre
"As producers of the Full Bloom events, we've set out to bring entertainment to the community that rocks." Campy is fun but not for this event. We look for high energy, high impact, everyone get-up-and-dance music to heighten the celebration of our great town. Jeanie B! & the Jelly Beans delivered! Kids and adults alike were up and dancing. Fabulous music for the whole family!" — Amy Morton and Neal H. Levin, co-promoters, Full Bloom '07
"You were wonderful on Friday at Millennium Park. You really drew a great crowd. Thanks for everything." — Tim Tuten, Millennium Park/The Hideout, Chicago IL
"Thank you for your awesome performance. Even the older Children were happy to participate in your dances. I thought it was fun that the adults got up for The Bootay Dance! I didn't know anyone could play the guitar while lying on the floor. I received several positive comments from parents who attended the program and everyone had a great time. Thank you." — Jenny Collier, Children's Librarian Wood Dale IL
Thank you so very much for a terrific performance. I have heard nothing but raves about the show. Everyone loved the songs, the dancing, the bubbles and bubble wrap, and of course the guitars. My son carries his around with him and talks about Jeanie B! You had the kids dancing, rolling, wriggling, and literally running in the aisles. Her exuberance is contagious, her songs engaging, and her performance is just not to be missed. — Susan Davis Friedman/Beth Emet Synagogue Preschool
"JeanieB! and the Jelly Beans performed at our very first Music at Maple Park Concert Series. Jeanie and her group set a tone for future concerts that was both exciting and quite wonderful. Jeanie has a knack with kids and grownups that brings out the very best in them. The audience is always invited to participate in the performance and even the very shy kids (and adults) manage to be brought into the music by Jeanie's warmth and smile. Jeanie and her group play with an intimacy that lets you know that they enjoy playing as much as the audience enjoys hearing them play. They offer a group excitement that is available to anyone who is willing to listen and be involved. The whole experience is contageous! She has a "class act" that will make anything that follows her have to work hard just to be on the same playing field." — Bobbie McKay; Director; Maple Park Concert Series, Wilmette IL
"Jeanie B! and the Jelly Beans entertained the kids and adults with the unique ingredients of top rate music, lyrics kids can learn, dancing and teaching kids compassion, kindness and how to have fun all rolled in to one.I look forward to seeing you again." — Aspasia Apostolakis/Metro Family Services
"If possible, try to bring your kids to see Jeanie B and the Jelly Beans live. I saw them at Evanston's First Night with my wife and our two boys - and it was fun, fun, fun! The band is very friendly and approachable. My kids were fascinated at watching the performers play their instruments. Obviously, Jeanie B and the Jelly Beans are professional musicians who have paid their dues in the nightclubs and they've created a show that really works for kids, and their parents too. It's not silly or syrupy or too loud. They know how to work a crowd, even if everyone directly in front of the stage is less than four feet tall. And their songs just lend themselves to a sing-along. When I left, I felt as if I had been at a regular show. "Mommy Knows Best" is now on top of the charts in my house, replacing the Peanut's Christmas Theme. See you next time." — Jerry V.: Father of two boys
"First Night Evanston was thrilled to have Jeanie B! and the Jelly Beans performing for the second year in a row. Jeanie B! and the Jelly Beans put on three amazing energy filled sets. The room for the two inside sets was filled beyond capacity but it didn't bother the fans young or old who were too busy boogying down to the beats to care about bumping into their neighbor. When the band went outside they kept the crowd dancing smiling and left them wanting more. The popularity of her performance spoke for itself. First Night Evanston could not be prouder". — Corrine Pierog; Manager First Night Evanston Festival
"Thanks for such an awesome night! The first ever Kingsley Back to School Bash was huge success. During set up you were the calm amidst the storm. Your laid back confidence and what-will-be-will-be philosophy — infectious. And then you hit that first chord. It was magical. Kids flocked to you — surrounding you with dancing and laughter. Fun, heartwarming, charming, delightful! Everyone there, oldest to youngest let all their cares slip away for one magical hour of music and dancing. Your presence and positive energy were electrifying. Thanks for kicking off our school year on such a positive note!" — Anne: Kingsley Elementary School PTA
The Northminster Art Show usually speaks for itself by transforming Logan Hall into a colorful gallery with the amazing art of its students, but this year the fabulous entertainment of JeanieB! made the afternoon even more spectacular!
The children, teachers and parents had a blast. Jeanie kept the audience so entertained! They were dancing, jumping and moving to all of her great grooves! We loved her and hope she will come back soon! Thanks Jeanie B! — Lois Wall; Northminster Preschool, Evanston, IL
