Jay Bean!

I've been playing harmonica ever since I found one in a Cracker Jack box at the age of eight years old. And I've been making music next to Jeanie B! ever since we met in a Michigan high school. In fact, the first song we ever played together was Neil Young's "Heart of Gold," and the story goes that Jeanie was so taken by my harmonica solo that she fell in love with me and we've played together in every sense since then.
Jeanie and I have performed as a duet for years, and we've also had various bands along the way, including the bubblegum rock cover band, The Puppies, and our current group, Angel Paint.
And I don't just play harmonica for The Jelly Beans, no sir. Often, it's me who's up there demonstrating how to do the 'Washing Machine' and other movements that go along with the various songs (while Jeanie's hands are busy twanging the guitar). I've also been known to play the kazoo and slide whistle. You can say The Jelly Beans bring out my … inner child.
